Hey man! Thought I'd drop by to see what you're up to, and it looks like you are one busy mofo. Between you and Catmull, there ain't much room left for us bottom-feeding acoustic solo hacks!
Ah, such is the life.
As for me, I'm getting out there a couple of times a month, basically just to get out of the house. New rhythm section is solidly installed after a summer of woodshedding, and we begin recording the new disc Thursday. Working title: Tender 'n Flaky.

The Supersuckers are one the greatest bands in history and their live show at the Other Side last night was one of the best I've ever seen. Just proving that everyone actually just wants to be a bass player in a rock band.

Greg - I can't tell if you are kidding about the beard. It has been coming and going, like som esort of small animal infestation for as long as I can remember. WHich may or may not mean that I had it five years ago when we worked together... I have a sense that it will be going again, and soon. It keeps waking me up at night....

hey larry; I'm sorry I haven't replied to your letter- the cds are great- I will write you soon, just have to get through the semester here...I'm teaching Turks, Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, and some boys from Guinea and Burkina Faso all in the same class. Another class has Polish and Central Americans, some Checz students...

Damn right it's fresh. Larry is like a cool breeze filled with the mist of waterfall flowing from a lake containing only the happiest of fish. His beats are also just as fresh, like "funky jazz from seattle".
